With two flexible ballrooms and 14 additional function rooms, our exceptional Scottsdale Arizona meeting facility will exceed your expectations for quality and flexibility of space. All of the event spaces at Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch are located in one wing of the resort, providing convenient access and a focused business environment to ensure a very successful program.

To ensure your event meets your standards, all of our conference and banquet facilities offer individual controls for heat / air conditioning, sound, music, telephones, multiple electrical / microphone outlets, audiovisual equipment, and 100V single-phase and 220V single-phase electricity. All rooms have T-1 access lines and are equipped to meet any technical requirements. The resort also features Wi-Fi Internet access in the guestrooms, lobby and pool areas for the convenience of your attendees.

Vaquero Ballroom
Our largest event space, The Vaquero Ballroom is fully redesigned featuring striking contemporary changes to carpet, air walls, wall covering and lighting. Registration desks, adjacent bathrooms and foyers are also included in the renovation. Double entrance doors were added to the ballroom to provide quieter access to the meeting space. The addition of a public corridor enhances the flexibility of the space and allows for more breakout options.

The adjoining Vaquero Foyer offers two registration desks for pre-event sign-in and information, as well as for Continental breakfast buffets or cocktails and hors d’oeuvres prior to your grand dinner.

Arizona Ballroom
Designed to incorporate elements of the destination, the 12,000 square foot Arizona Ballroom is adorned with beautiful stained oak millwork and fossil stone accents. The outside entrance to the ballroom features cascading fountains, vibrant bougainvillea, and Royal Date Palms lining the entry drives. Use this spacious venue on its own to accommodate set-ups including 1,100 theater-style or 600 in a classroom set up. Two foyers with three registration desks, and two attached outdoor spaces – The Desert Garden and the Arizona Patio – create the consummate business space, with excellent locations for everything from event registration to meetings to luncheons and coffee breaks.

For larger conferences, the convenient location next to the Vaquero Ballroom allows you to combine spaces to easily organize events for more than 2,000 guests. Additionally, a three-story, covered parking garage accommodates those visiting the Arizona and Vaquero Ballrooms.

Desert Garden / Arizona Patio
Take in views of the lovely grounds and the surrounding vistas as you and your guests enjoy a relaxing cocktail reception or casual luncheon buffet in these gracious outdoor areas. Part of the first floor conference arena, each is easily accessible for attendees in both the Arizona and Vaquero Ballrooms.

Arroyos
Ideal for smaller meetings, Arroyos can be used as one room or separated into three smaller venues. Create team-building exercises for groups of 25 in each, or arrange breakouts in each room, with a different topic for each. The Arroyo Rooms feature views of Terrace Court and the majestic McDowell Mountains from an entire wall of floor to ceiling windows.

Dunes
Featuring rooms which open onto Terrace Court and offering views of spectacular blooming bougainvillea and cactus, Dunes can also be divided into two salons, with capacity to accommodate meetings for 20 to 60, depending upon set up. This space is also perfect for a private reception for VIPs, with butler passed hors d’oeuvres and Champagne cocktails.

Executive Boardroom
The contemporary design of this new state-of-the-art boardroom creates the perfect environment for interactive and productive meetings of all types. The 21 foot solid oak conference table with executive seating for 20 contains connectivity for eight direct phone lines and unlimited data ports, along with electrical access. The 50” plasma screen, Bose sound system and DVD player enhance the media options in the 1,150 square foot room. Meal functions and breaks are supported by a wet bar featuring a full refrigerator, microwave and countertop service amenities.

Hyatt & Markland Boardrooms
Host executive committee meetings in these elegant boardrooms, featuring private balconies with views of the pools and golf course. Classically styled boardroom tables, leather chairs and upgraded desk amenities are all available, as is state-of-the-art technology for presentations. The room may also be used for private dinners and exclusive receptions for up to 50 guests.

Sonoran
Adjacent to the lobby, the Sonoran meeting room and foyer features Alabaster wall sconces, oversized leather chairs, distressed oak sideboards, an inlayed sisal ceiling and rich carpet tones of burgundy, olive and gold to create an inviting residential feel. A private banquet service area allows our professional catering team to perform their duties with ease.

Sonwai
This unique event space features floor to ceiling movable glass walls that frame the spectacular views of Palm Grove and the splendor of the McDowell Mountains. The stunning outdoor patios complement the indoor rooms and make it ideal for intimate meetings or celebratory occasions. The flexibility of this private space allows for five individual studios, perfect for smaller breakouts or conferences.

McDowell
The McDowell meeting room, overlooking Terrace Court, is perfect for smaller gatherings. Select this soothing space, with its palette of warm blues and gold, as the working headquarters for your conference, or as an executive retreat room for VIPs.

Terrace Court
Terrace Court shares spectacular views of the McDowell Mountain range. With easy access from all meeting space, it is an ideal location for group breakfasts or lunches. With over 9,000 square feet, this alluring venue is also ideal for sit-down dinners for 450 guests or memorable receptions for more than 800.

Palm Grove
A lovely setting for an opening reception, Palm Grove is framed with stately palm trees and views of the golf course and mountains.

Poolside
Ten pools allow us to create special events in many locations for groups of varying sizes. From extravagant formal parties to casual “beach” bashes, our team of professionals will assist you in creating remarkable gatherings.

Lawn Court
The tiered 5,980 square foot Lawn Court offers both lawn and hard-surfaced areas. This secluded outdoor venue, lined with date palms, featuring a gazebo with a teak bar, is a perfect location for private receptions, and meal functions.

Waterfall Terrace
Ideal for smaller, more intimate events. This site features sparkling fountains, golf course and mountain views, built-in bar and private fire pit.
