Founded by Rafael Font de Mora, a competitor on the men’s pro tour from 1985 to 1988, and a tennis analyst for NBC during the Barcelona Olympics, ITUSA has developed a successfully proven method of teaching tennis to everyone from beginners to professional players. Font de Mora has established tennis facilities and training programs throughout Europe and South America, and is coach to Meghann Shaughnessy, who also serves as the resort’s resident touring Pro.
A unique video training system, developed by Font de Mora, includes an online video customized to show the player's beginning and ending levels of play, analysis of their strokes, slow motion video, along with special text and animated graphics.
Want to get a great workout while playing tennis? Try Cardio Tennis, a new, fun group activity featuring drills to give players of all abilities the ultimate, high energy workout. If you are looking for a great new way to get in shape and burn calories, you must try Cardio Tennis! It is offered daily 9:00-10:00am. The cost is $25.
If you prefer to work on your game but not in a lesson format, our "Hit with the Pro" just for you. Our Tennis Director, Elliott Pettit, a former collegiate tennis player, is ready to get out on the courts to trade strokes with you!
